Hatch was on at dusk. Fishing had slowed by 10pm and we were leaving soon. I had felt them hitting my line a bunch as they skimmed the water for flies. I go to retrieve my line and could feel a little something on the end (not a fish).

Bat got caught on the leg by my fly. It takes off and I've got it on a leash pretty much. Comes straight at me and lands in a bush behind me. I net it and cut the line. It falls in the river and swims to shore (pretty good swimmers I had no idea)
