with looking for a person to blame? Why is the sky falling when BYU's record isn't to your liking?

I'm old, man. I've lived thru good and bad with Lavell, Crowton, BM's annoying tenure and now KS. I know you'd like to blame TH for your angst, but he just calls some of the shots. He doesn't control the product on the field, despite the counter that you're already thinking of him hiring KS. It's way bigger than that, man. Sit back, enjoy some football (whenever it plays out), and cheer on BYU. TH isn't the problem.

Think of it this way. You probably didn't pick at least one out of Trump or Obama or Bush - but whether you like it or not, they were president. All of them got blamed by the other party for things they had nothing to do with, but hey - he's the president so it's his fault. It's a lie we all tell ourselves - me included. None of us voted for TH, but it's time to look through clear lenses and see him for what he is - a good AD in the worst of times. He's not perfect. I've made hires that I thought were home runs that were absolute bombs. Didn't make me a poor leader. I did the best with the applicants I had and it didn't pan out.

If your argument is that he hired KS, look at the pool of candidates he had with the restrictions BYU has. The other coaches are just like the 2nd string BYU quarterback. They were always the better hire in someone's eyes.

The sky ain't fallling, and football isn't doomed. Cheer up, man. The sky is always blue.
