Sucks to have a child admitted for dehydration. I am just referring to the initial few hours. Seems like every couple of months I wake up to one of my kids throwing up in the toilet. Sometimes they throw up several times, but they are always fine within hours. It happens so often that I never worry about it unless it persists. Having the one hospitalization incident is a good reminder though to keep them hydrated with pedialyte though.
