Also, some of the stuff you can see in the Oriente.
You can get into the Amazon and see a lot of wildlife. Higher up, the Chimborazo volcano is pretty impressive, and it has some really nice colonial towns in the sierra, like Cuenca and Loja.
It doesn't have a fraction of the spectacular ruins you can find in Perú, but there are still some pretty interesting Inca and Cañar sites to explore.
