I remember when Tesla had their Autonomy day and Elon Musk stated "Game, Set, and Match" on autonomous driving, I went out and rented a Tesla for the weekend just to try it all out. Enhanced Autopilot was amazing, the new Tesla chip was amazing, and the promise of self driving cars by Dec. 2019, and legally self driving cars in some areas by the end of 2020 . . . That was an amazing announcement. Autonomy day had me PUMPED!!!

Well 16 months later. . . the autonomy day basic take aways are all moot points now. The futuristic chip is 25% worse than the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin chip, and they never speak of it anymore. The Tesla -Uber/Lyft service isnt coming around any time soon. The autopilot on the freeway is AWESOME, but it feels about the same a year later. Autopilot in the streets looks better with cones/trashcans/etc, but Waymo's setup is legit taking people around like a robo-taxi service.

Let's just say I have been buying Tesla Stock the past 16 months with the plan to sell it all and buy a Tesla. . . and now I want to sell the stock and possibly buy a different car.
