Try watching it with the captions on, it helps when you can understand what they are singing. It took us at least 20 minutes to get into it and we really like musicals. From the Schuyler Sisters song/scene on it gets better. Also, maybe watch some of the You Tube videos out there explaining some of the intricacies. There’s a character called “the bullet”, the direction of the turntable, the rewind of the song “Satisfied”, etc. It’s actually about Eliza Hamilton too, not just Alexander.
