Then again, I’ve read from some sources that Nebraska has not liked the Big 10 as much as it thought it would, and has considered going back to the Big 12.

If that ever happened it would give new legs to BYU’s chance to join the Big 12, because then they would have a good partner to join with. It solves the Big 12’s dilemma of finding a high quality 12th team.

Fingers crossed that happens. It will take a Hail Mary similar to that for BYU to ever get into a P5 league.
