bearings in the hub sometimes fail early. I had a Honda with 30K miles have a wheel hub go bad. If it's a hub, though, it's more of a grinding sound and not so much a wobble each time the wheel hits a certain point each revolution.

You might have to jack it up and spin the tire off the ground to see if there's an issue with the tire.
