“there is absolutely no excuse.” Because that wouldn’t be true.
“Their players are better than ours.” I wouldn’t want to hear that from a coach.
“Kalani is clearly the better coach.” Ken has a much better overall record and his team ended the year ranked last year, so I don’t think he has to say that.
That being said, I understand where you’re coming from. This could have been a statement game from Kalani (which I still think it was) but it unfortunately has an asterisk next to it. That’s too bad. But such is life.
I’ve been harsh with Kalani and staff and gladly ate crow last night. (Don’t know how to link posts but look through my posting history from last night.) I’m hopeful that Kalani is turning things around. Consistency has not been a strength of this staff, so let’s wait to see if that’s been improved. But I’m glad he’s our coach and I’m optimistic about the future.
