Why is this book so loved? It only shares very basic principles that you can find all over. I was very excited to read this book because it was so highly suggested and I was pretty disappointed after finishing it.
Admittedly I don't love fictional novels that are really parables and are didactic nature, but I know some people love those. Things like The Alchemist, The greatest Salesman in the world etc. To me that style feels like a story anyone could write that the author inserted lessons into. If they just took the lessons only and turned them into a book that book would only be an essay because it would be so short.
Probably sounds like a rant which it isn't. There are some good lessons in the book but I just did a 10 second google search and found a good synopsis that gives the same information in a more accessible medium:
Montreal Financial Security Advisor providing advice to Business Owners and High Net Worth Clients on Life Insurance, Whole Life Insurance, Term Insurance, Long Term Care, Annuities, Estate Planning, Retirement Planning, Health Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance and GIC.
