though of course they open themselves up to lawsuits if they get too crazy. Like there was a 5 billion dollar Chinese education company --GSX-- recently that was accused of having fake users...and of weird things going on with their office space and whatnot. It was an interesting read, and all that stuff might be true, but ultimately all the stock did was go from about $35 to $120...so I would never say any of these types of reports are necessarily actionable. Just fun battles to watch....though probably not fun if you are in the stocks.
