Something I didn't notice until watching Sherlock on Netflix

The way Watson reacted to Holmes on the BBC show Sherlock was similar to how Wilson reacted to House. And the way Cumberbatch played Holmes was very narcissistic like the way House is played.

So I googled it and yes, House was loosely patterned after Sherlock Holmes.

The best House episode is the Scrubs episode where it mimics House.
