Ross is one of my favorite people I befriended through my connection to BYU during the Bronco years. He is one of the coolest, most down to Earth guys, but he had a ton of injuries and surgeries that he tried to play through. I have seen the big knee surgery scars on his knees, which were not scopes, in addition to his shoulder surgeries which were talked about. One meal that we shared together at an annual dinner with the team, we had a long conversation about the rehab since we both had just had surgery and on the mend. I was shocked at what he fought through. When guys like Hoffman showed up, he took a backseat but was always a threat to opposing teams and a decoy. He is doing a heck of a job with training high school and current college players. I loved his personality, I only wish the rest of Coug Nation could have seen more of it and his talent.
