the eye test has let in oklahoma for years without them being competitive. I
think its more about money than how good the teams are. So if a storied program with tons of fans is eligible...they are going to pass whatever eye test is used. But you are right if it seems two SEC teams are clearly the best two they might let in 2 of them if theres no clear winner of big 12 or big ten.
