Take him away and the rosters still aren't close. That's the point.
He's the cherry on top but the overall roster is still better and you don't make it that far without the roster.
They still have another tier 1 superstar. They have two old vet former stars who ate really good role players. Rondo is Playoff Rondo. Guys like KCP and Green. Kuzma averaged 19 and 5 in his 2nd year. Morris and McGee.
Bunch of old role player vets who can all do their thing. Clippers have some washed up vets who aren't performing at that high of a level. And half of them will probably be off the team next year.
Nobody is saying lebron isn't lebron. He gets his teams there for sure. But he advances and wins titles because of their whole rosters.

the way it works is if your team is eliminated, you need to stop playing. If your team wins the series, you keep playing
