Wife doesn’t want me going to the game Saturday....

I bought tickets to the game on Saturday but my wife is now telling me that it would be stupid to go. I imagine that it’s going to be relatively safe and keeping distance would be no problem. I need help on figuring out how to convince her that I’m not any less sad than going to the office or the store. If the game is played I want to be there.
