have shot the exact same number of cumulative free throws (113). It's funny when perception becomes reality for so many. The only nights everyone on here wasn't complaining about the Lakers getting all the calls was game 2 when Denver took 14 more free throws than LA and was called for 8 fewer fouls (and still LOST) and game 3 when Denver won and was called for 5 fewer fouls and shot 7 more free throws.
The play in question here could have been called a foul on LeBron and did lead to a layup at the other end for LA because Denver is a terrible defensive team in transition. This was then followed by two ridiculous foul calls in a row to keep Denver in it. One on Caruso who jumped straight up into space he is allowed to own as a defender sending Murray to the line and the very next possession where Millsap got an offensive rebound and threw a ridiculous shot attempt up at the rim while falling out of bounds.
Denver shot terribly, is clearly the less physical team, and was convincingly outrebounded last night, yet we want to make this about a missed foul call on one isolated play.
