I think the problem last year is he was relying too much on his foot talent...
...and bailed out of the pocket trying to make big plays instead of making quick reads and making the easy play based on what the D gave him in the situation.
He has nice mobility but unlike high school he's not the best athlete on the field anymore. Last year he seemed to call his own number way too much. He seems more focused on keeping his eyes on his receivers instead of looking for running lanes and is doing a better job using his playmakers.
