So I see plays like this and I always think how horrible of a pass that was. If the receiver were anywhere near Dax, he would’ve easily knocked it down. I feel like this often happens when the WR is completely wide open, so often that I wonder if the QB purposely takes some speed off the ball just to make sure it gets there and he doesn’t mess up. Am I looking at this wrong? If I were the announcer I’d say “that was a horrible pass but the WR did such a good job that he made up for it.”
