I'm sure some of those teams who haven't played yet are better than some of the teams who are ranked. But it is crazy to see the rankings with "holding places" - are those teams who won't play for 5 weeks just going to sit in those spots? Will they go up or down as teams win or lose between now and then?
It's also pretty crazy that with no inter-conference play for so many of these teams, the biases will be set based on how well they play against each other. With no way of knowing how they would compare to other teams in other conferences until/unless they are in the playoffs.
