Actually, the SEC is really going to beat itself up with 10 conference games
The fourth and fifth place SEC teams are likely to have 3+ losses...unless you have several 2-loss SEC teams that have won and beaten each other in substantial daisy chain.
Likewise, each of the top ACC teams play at least two of the other contenders, so at least one of the ACC contenders is likely to drop to 2+ losses.
The Big 12 already beats itself up and the PAC is only playing 7 conference games, with only Oregon ranked from the get-go. So, undefeated BYU with a win over ranked-Boise State will be in a decent position for the NY6 bid.
