This is a convenient 'postponement' for the SEC. Call me a conspiracy theorist..
Two major SEC programs that just lost games avoid playing each other. One is guaranteed to lose the game.
Florida still plays Georgia and Tennessee this year. If they don't play, Florida avoids the possibility of another loss and could end up with only 2 losses in 2020.
LSU still plays Auburn, Alabama, and Texas A&M. If they don't play Florida, LSU better avoids the possibility of a *SIX* losses and a 4-6 record. LSU might still look like a bowl team at 4-5...
