He also pitched an elimination game in the NLCS in 2016.
He wins this game and the Dodgers are tied 2-2 in the NLCS, this game isn’t more important than those games. He pitches well and it doesn’t exorcise any demons, he’s pitched well in the playoffs and even in WS games, he hasn’t pitched consistently. Winning this game doesn’t change his legacy.
