regardless of the W's/L's when the dust settles. Really. How or why you might ask? Simple. It's this "twilight zone" season of 2020 we weren't even sure for months would happen.

My attitude and approach...which has served me well thus far...and will even stand up to a loss tonight and a drop in the rankings is: we are playing with "house money."

Don't get me wrong. It's been great starting out this way...climbing the polls...getting some national media love and post-season speculation...and I've ESPECIALLY loved being the only game in town West of the Mississippi until the fraidy cat conferences finally start playing in November.

But I think this season and any final rankings...W/L records...individual records and stats will most likely wind up with an asterisk in the record books...kind of like that NFL season with the replacement teams during the strike.

So...I am able to sit back...not stress...enjoy the good stuff and sleep well at night just grateful we actually have a season....and almost a full season at that with the possibility of a sweet bowl invite hanging out there. As always....your mileage may vary.
