Some AAC and MWC teams recruit better than us.

Because of our recruiting situation we shouldn’t worry about national championships. It’s like financial planning with lottery tickets. Being all or nothing doesn’t help the program. Striving for an automatic bid is both attainable and worthwhile, but can only be done in a conference.

The only guarantee for legit national tv is our home games. When we go in the road we still can end up in the Pac 12 network and whatever channel UMass was on.

Pulling up the Temple’s schedule from last year. All their games were on one of the ESPN platforms (except ESPN+ unlike BYU) or CBSSN. These are widely available channels that wouldn’t hurt BYU’s exposure.

The money and cost of travel are the only real issues about joining the AAC.
