Obviously if we were invited to a P5 conference and started receiving P5 money and P5 recruiting, we could start to build up our program to compete in a P5 conference.

But until that happens, we’re basically playing a P5 schedule most years without all the benefits and perks that come from being in a P5 conference.

That’s why the AAC would make a lot of sense if we were ever inclined to give up our Independence. The caliber of football in the AAC is very good. They usually have several Top 25 teams and the top 2/3rds of the conference would be tough games.
