That’s not really the reason Wyoming and Nevada didn’t get the invite. They
wouldn’t have gotten an invite even if they had gone 12-0 for many consecutive seasons, especially Wyoming.
Arizona is another good example of a school who was invited to join a P5 conference despite sucking, albeit a while ago (1977 IIRC).

False. Nobody wins their way into a P5 league. That’s not how it works. If that were true, we’d have been P5 long ago
