I could probably still name all the Dodgers from those years.

My best friend and I had a bet on the 1959 World series. I asked out the girl he had been dating, after first asking him it it was okay to ask her, they had broken up, he said yes go ahead. I asked her out and she is now my wife. I won the bet but he wouldn't give me the money directly....gave the money to another guy who gave it to me. He never spoke to me again after I got the date.

I lost a good friend but got an even better friend in my wife.

Just caused me to go down memory lane.
