And because other Americans have different experiences IN America and are sharing those experiences doesn’t make them unAmerican or non-patriotic.

I find it worrisome that the ultra far right are using patriotism as a shield and have co-opted the US flag as their symbol. It is scary to me because I love the flag and what it stands for in my life is becoming increasingly distant from how it’s used by the far right.
