So my wife has a couple of handbags from LV. One of them has had an issue with the hand strap where the seal melted or did something on a small section. It was sticky and bugged my wife. Very cosmetic and no one would know anything if it was pointed out. It was more that it was tacky sticky feel to it if she touched in that spot.
So we took it to the local store here in Birmingham and asked them if they knew what was going on. Guy verified it was authentic (verified our account) and no questions asked said let me get you a new one. Walked back, white glove service handed my wife a new bag and said we'll take the old one. I was floored by this. This is a new $2k purse that had a small issue on the strap. I asked why and he guy simply said it's how they take care of their customers. It was a defect and the purse is lifetime guaranteed of defects.
So what about the old purse? They send them to France and they are burned.
Honestly, I'm not the biggest fan of spending that much. It was a gift for my wife on the success of her business'. But honestly with that kind of service I feel .0001% less dumb for spending that on a purse.
