The initial discussion was centered around BYUs ability to get NFL attention on one of our QBs. I still disagree that BYU is a lock to start him and clearly offers and advantage there. Conover is here and for all we know Sol Jay Maiava could also present stiff competition in the QB battle. I dont even disagree that BYU can offer him a great shot at the NFL but that wont ever convince a 4 star kid to come to Provo over a laundry list of top P5 schools regardless of who the coaches are. Never has and never will work.
