my point is it DIDN'T HELP. I'm not discounting myriad other reasons. but if
you have a massively lopsided series where the lesser team loses 2 of their top 3 players, people are going to lose interest. If it had been a larger sports market team or even one with the bigger star power (Giannis) it would have helped.
meanwhile, in the NLCS you had two of the most popular MLB Teams, Dodgers/Braves. Of course it makes a difference which teams are playing.
