Little to do with this topic, but just good to hear his name thrown around. Seriously the classiest guy. I was never his mission companion, but did play football with him on our P day. Thought it was funny how the Portuguese missionaries couldn't catch anything even though John would zip it right into their chest. I talked to him about football and he would tell me how he was trying to be a BYU quarterback but that his senior season in High School was not quite what he wanted it to be. He was so humble about it all I got the impression it was more a dream for him than something that could actually happen. It's awesome how well he did. Great guy.
