Since everyone decided not to try, the hard cost is on average $765 for Uni,...
...helmet, gloves, socks and shoes. The average program pays roughly $500 of that and the promotional value is provided b Nke, Wilson, Russel, etc... but lets assume because of ESPN exposure, BYU pays $400/athlete. It's still a tidy little $36,000 to dress up for a gridiron ball one time. Just say'n.
