When you think of life insurance, think of the life you'd like to leave to your family if you untimely passed.
Being debt free with a highly educated wife, I don't know that you /need/ it, but it might be worth getting a $500k or $1MM policy, since that would make it so she and the kids don't have to work for a while or ever.
