I have a friend that is very smart. He's a statistician. I asked him if he had
life insurance and he said no...he has a wife and young kids. When I asked why he simply said they would get a social security benefit and his wife could go get a job...I was stunned that he would think like that.
It's not expensive. I pay about $500 a year for a 1.5 million dollar policy that is a 20 year term.
