This. he would have more of a point IMO if insurance wasn't a thing. But I have never understood why people would say
that someone who has been wronged should just buck up and deal with it so that someone else's insurance doesn't have to pay out. Makes no sense. Sure, there are frivolous cases, but contrary to popular belief, insurance companies do not just pay out automatically either. If it is a real settlement, it is because there is a real need to settle. I am speaking as someone who litigates.
