written all over him, too. I don't remember a WR who could shake a guy as consistently as Romney & Milne since Cody — & unfortunately Cody didn't have a QB that could hit him in stride on a long ball (& the selection of those long balls didn't stretch all too deep to begin with).

Leslie might've amounted to that kinda player for us — but injuries didn't really allow him to achieve consistency. And Matthews for all his talent was terrible at long routes in man coverage (really, he wasn't great against any scheme in that capacity).
