Yeah, it probably is too late. (I assume you mean northern Utah, right?) Now we're getting into freezing weather.
You can plant them in early spring, as soon as the ground thaws and you can get them.

But if you already bought them and have them on hand, you might as well put them in the ground to give them a chance. They might make it.
