At my first diagnosis, when they were trying to figure out what was causing my pain, they gave me Toradol after many many doses of Dilaudid. It helped the pain, but because Toradol increases your bleeding risk, it delayed my lithotripsy by 3 days. Not a great three days in my life, just sat at home with barely diminished pain and unable to eat, drink, or sleep.
