Since every player in the draft will declare early, players will have to ask if they can really increase their stock much by staying an extra year. Even if undrafted, there will be less competition for UDFA and practice squad. Herring is already a 5th yr Sr after serving a mission. He should consider taking his chance this year, and a team may take a chance late in the draft given his measurables. Not sure he stands much to gain NFL wise by staying.
Not saying he should go, but just offering the other side of the argument, even if it's questionable if he gets drafted.
