I think the Minnesota vs Michigan showed how crazy missing a few players from a skill group or two can make a game.

Oregon has zero margin of error (the whole PAC-12 does really) .... if they have 5 players out already, and are cancelling practice.....

If they followed the BigTen with the 21 day thing (and depending on exactly when the 21 days start) those 5 could miss 1/3 of the season.
