I thought it was brilliant!
Texas State had scored a recent touchdown and keeping the ball was desirable.
Running a fake punt in a real game is a good thing in case it is every needed again. I would have liked to see him run out of bounds before getting tackled.
52-14 is not running up the score. Clemson 73 Georgia Tech 7 is a much better example of that.
