My son's math (again, can't post the picture) is using Pythagorean theorem. He has some assumptions but I think his 68.12 is accurate + or - 3 yards. Assumptions are: 1) How far to the east sideline was Zach when throwing. 2) Exactly where was the ball caught. I don't agree with some saying it wasn't 68. It is and could be 70. Remember, he threw it from the 53.3 yard line. You have to calculate for the horizontal distance traveled as well and that's the extra some don't account for.
