So let me get this right....last week when Ware, who is also black, was making very favorable comments about Wilson and comparing him to Mahomes and BYU fans liked it and made positive posts, of course THAT had nothing to do with race (which it didn’t) but this week because some fans didn’t like the very obvious negative comments from Gilmore, it could be perceived as due to racism? That never even entered my mind until YOU brought it up.

Attitudes like that are exactly what’s continuing to divide this country, way more than any actual racism. It’s bad enough that sadly some people ARE racist or bigoted, but suggesting something is racist that clearly is not just makes things way worse...It’s like starting a fire when a fire isn’t needed, then continuing to make the fire bigger by throwing gasoline on it.
