funeral, and it turned out ot be a huge mistake. A huge storm system moved in over Wyoming, Utah and Colorado, and I-80 and I-70 were both closed. The outlook was bad going over the next few days, and it seemed unlikely that the freeways would be clear for several days. I had to get back for work and my kids had to get back for school.

We ended up going south to Flagstaff and taking 40 east to New Mexico and cutting across Kansas. It added another day, but we still got home probably 3-4 days before we would have had we stayed.

That was quite the adventure.
