other college teams that are second tenants in an NFL stadium do not give great
hope that that is a desirable situation. USF, Pittsburgh, Temple. If often just means that the NFL team will take all the football fans, and there are not enough additional rabid fans to fully support the college team.

Sure UNLV gets a cool new stadium to play in (when LV lets them), but now serious football fans will be drawn to the Raiders instead of to UNLV. Some fans would but many won't have the five to 8 hours on both Saturday and Sunday to watch the game.

Most universities can offer a party-type of lifestyle to recruits, so being in Sin City is not that much of an advantage in that sense. I guess warm weather in winter is a drawn, but then they have to deal with blazing hot summers.

UNLV's big problem - not enough fans. You could make a case for any other MWC team and say if only they had the right coach they could take off.
