BYU can claim to have beaten Texas State by 38 opposed to Boston College winning by 3 & SMU by 7 but I'm not sure anyone will care.

And with the SEC, Big 10, and PAC 10 not playing any OOC games we really don't have any great measuring sticks to compare those conferences.

I personally think 8-2 (and maybe 7-3) in the SEC is better than 6-1 in the PAC 12 but how do you prove that this year? We know that middle of the pack Auburn beat Washington & Oregon the past few years but is it fair to extrapolate previous years results?

The debates this year are going to be epic! They really should have at least an 8 team playoff this year.
