Individual game tickets this year are $25 for upper end zone for the least expensive and $75 for prime sideline seats for the most expensive. Tickets are only being offered by BYU to season ticket holders and upper level Cougar Club Members. Ticket offers are made on a points based system that takes into account Cougar Club level, number of years in Cougar Club, and number of years purchasing season tickets and bowl game tickets, etc. Tickets can be resold on the open secondary market except for ROC/student tickets. ROC tickets cannot be resold or even given away. The original student buyer is the only one who can use the ticket. ROC tickets are $20 and each student is only able to purchase 1 ticket. Many Cougar Club members/season ticket holders are purchasing these tickets from BYU and then reselling them for 2x, 3x, and as much as 4x what they originally paid for the tickets. I do not think this should be allowed. If the original purchaser is not going to use the tickets they should agree with BYU that they will either give them away or only sell them at face value but not profit from the sale of tickets. The highest level Cougar Club Members are allowed to purchase as many as 12 tickets to each game. Also, at last week's game there were many seats that were empty that had been sold and the purchaser just did not show up. It's too bad that there is not a BYU site where these tickets could be offered for free rather than just let the seats go vacant. Occasionally someone will offer tickets for free on KSL.COM classifieds. For social distancing velcro strips were placed on all the seats that were not sold so it is obvious which seats were sold and unused because they did not have the velcro strips on them.
