Again, I don’t think leaving so fast is always the answer.
Just curious which of the following quarterbacks cougar board would say should have left for the NFL one year before they did?
Jim McMahon
Steve Young
Ty Detmer
Alex Smith
Baker Mayfield
Trevor Lawrence
The list could go on. However, these guys all had incredible seasons in the year prior to their last year. Some of them record-setting and Heisman Trophy type seasons.
He may be gone, that is fine and his choice. However, it is not like There isn’t president for great quarterbacks playing a second incredible year in college.
